Fracture Bracing

After a fracture to the spinal column your physician might recommend a brace to help maintain the stability of your spinal column as the fracture continues to heal. This could involve the use of a Cervical Collar, or Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis (TLSO) such as a Jewett Hyperextension Orthosis. These braces can be customized for appropriate fit and function. Please contact the team at OrthoProActive and they can walk you through the fitting procedure.

Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis (TLSO)

A TLSO is a brace that extends from the collar bones to the pelvis and uses intra-abdominal pressure to extend and unweight the spinal column. When used in combination with corrective pressures it can be used in the management of scoliosis.
